In blog number four we had to write a blog that connects a theme from like Hills Like White Elephants. In Hills the women and the american man had to make a important decison that will affect the girl maybe for the rest of her life. It took alot of the girl was contemplating for a long time. She was trying to figure of what the man wanted without even taking her feelings into consideration. In this blog I will be writting about the time when I had to think about something long and hard and was putting everybody else feelings before my own. Thanks For The Poster My birthday always around school time and having a single mother of 6 kids it’s must of been petty tough for my mom after her and my stepdad broke it off. I had two older brothers and one sister they were finished school and on their own. But my mom still had three others she had to take care of me my brother and sister Keith And Kaneith. One day I was talking about my birthday because I never knew who brung home the bacon. Not knowing my mom couldn’t do it so we sat down and had a chat… Mom I know what I want to do for my birhday.. What Sharea my mom said I want to get a party bus!!! Saying it with soooo much excitement I always could tell when somthing was wrong with my mom it was like a gift. Mom what’s wrong with you? Sharea I know your birthday coming up do you really want the party bus Yeah I do that’s all I want… She just said Okay After that a couple days later I heard her on the phone with my stepdad so she was asking him to help with the kids school and my birthday. He said something wrong because I heard my mom start yelling. “You never do nothing anyway” “you act like I cheated on you”. The next day my mom told me to pick which one I wanted. Sharea come here, they have alot of different buses which one you wanted. Yeah I know, I wanted the spa one but I dont want a party bus nomore Why Sharea? Because I want to have a little cookout with the family okay , we can do that and it’ll be cheaper Alright, I can make myself the flyer. The day of the cook out everybody coming Happy Bithday Sharea! Maquan said and passed me a poster that said happy birthday on it with $20. So I hung it up then everybody that came was putting money on the poster and signing it. Then my cousin fee came everybody was starting to leave she said “Sharea I’ll match, whatever you made today”. Not know what that meant I just said okay She said “how much you got” I had about $250 She said here another “250” I was sooo happy wake up to $500 the next day thinking I’m about to have a shopping spree. But then I remember my mom is struggle to get our school stuff. Mom the $500 I made you get use it towards our school stuff Sharea nobody not using your money Mom it’s cool I’m just going to spend it on dumb stuff then I left the money on the table. I know it was alot of stuff that I wanted from a game system doll heads sneaker clother. But i knew that my mom needed it more because she’ll make sure all of us had what we needed not wanted. My mom came back with all of us stuff Bookbags,Clothes,Shoes,Supplies everything we needed for school. Thank you Sharea for thinking about everybody and not just yourself. You’re welcome I know we needed it I’m going to take you to the nail salon and shopping when I get paid Okay

You know for some funny reason, your story reminded me of something I haven't thought about in ages me being ninety one and all. My mom raised three children. I remember one day when my little brother and I asked our mom for an x-box. Not just any x-box the new 360 at the time. She said yes and we were ecstatic with joy. After school, we came home to a box from our mom. We opened it and instead of an x-box, we got something called a game cube. My mom thought because it was shaped like a box, the game cube was the x-box. My bro and I were so mad but it was an epic game system. Thanks for reminding me Sharea. Don't keep me waiting on more stories alright:)
