In Don Murray article we read he said “Instead of teaching finished writing, we should teach unfinished writing” and that’s what we did in English Composition. Before this assessment my pervious experiences with writting was very basic. I’ve never had to write anything that actually trigger my emotions. I was so use to writting my 5 paragraph essays about 1 topic, but with narrative writting we’re writting about one topic which is ourselves in a million different way with a million different stories. With narrative writting our writting is never finished because we’re still here and things is still happening so we always have something to write about. In my english composition class I learned that something always have a deeper meaning with symbols. So in my first narrative “ It all started with a pillow pet” I wrote about the time when I first recieve my pillow pet and my stepdad gave me that pillow pet. In that pillow pet was represented by my stepdad how much he was to me.
